The first time I saw it, Utrecht June 1997

When my car got a re-paint I found the original paint numbers of Renault under the hood; "Argent Fonce Metallic". It was repainted in Budapest and from here we made a phone call to Renault - France, since the factory in Belgium no longer exists, to find out the original color. The stripping took me about a week and after that I went home and picked the car up again two months later and drove it back to Holland after putting it together again. The big dent was taken out of course but this was a hell of a job. little holes where drilled everywhere and the dent was pulled out. At that time I didn't know anybody whit such a car or how to find body parts for it so it had to be done this way.

The license as well as the license plates are originally Dutch from June 1965.

The back; a big dent, scratches and rust

Under construction; Budapest, Hungary, June 1999

Before, Utrecht June 1997

New paint.

After, Austria, Enns, September 1999

During Budapest, Hungary, June 1999
