Gstaad Mountain Rides
Gstaad Mountain Rides stands for skiing, snowboarding and pure enjoyment at up
to 3,000 meters above sea-level. Thanks to 62 different lifts, a total of 250
kilometers of pistes, various sled rides, snowparks and gorgeous hiking routes
are available for your pleasure. Rustic huts, sunny terraces and trendy
snow-bars invite you to linger on. Gtsaad Mountain Rides comprises six
independent ski regions. Included is the Glacier 3000 - the only glacial area in
the Berner Oberland - with a guaranteed offer of winter enjoyment from November
until the beginning of May. The KeyCard system allows you to keep your ski card
in your pocket, gates will open automatically when you approach them.
The
6-person gondola cableway starting at Zweisimmen will bring you to this ski paradise. Skiers, boarders and carvers
can find varied, perfectly maintained ski runs offering almost unlimited
possibilities here. On
the terraces of the various mountain houses everybody with an appetite
for sun or other treats will be satisfied.
Snow bars, the
Snow Park in Saanersloch/Saanenmöser and playgrounds for kids take care
of everybody's good mood. Since last winter, it is possible to
cover the downhill run from the Rinderberg to Zweisimmen with man-made snow over
a distance of 3.6 kilometres. The capacity of existing snow-making systems on
Eggli, Horneggli, Hornberg and Saanenmצser has been increased. Some lifts are also being updated.
